Two men shot in Tamarac

Two men were shot in Tamarac Wednesday evening, police said.

Officers responded to a call reporting shots fired at 9401 W. Commercial Blvd. around 8:56 p.m., according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

One person was taken to University Hospital by a relative; the other was airlifted by a Broward Sheriff’s Office helicopter and taken to Broward Health Medical Center.

Injuries were not life-threatening, according to BSO.

Police were still investigating what led up to the shooting late Wednesday.
