Small plane makes emergency landing on I-595 in West Broward

A small plane landed Thursday morning on Interstate 595 near Flamingo Road, according to Davie police.

The plane’s emergency landing closed westbound lanes on a stretch of highway at Nob Hill Road.

There were no reports of injuries or major damage to the plane. The pilot said he ran out of fuel.
