Wrong-way driver involved in fatal crash on Sawgrass Expressway, troopers say

A pre-dawn crash that involved one fatality and closed a southbound stretch of the Sawgrass Expressway for more than four hours Wednesday also involved a vehicle traveling the wrong way, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Three cars were involved in the crash that happened about 5:15 a.m., a short distance west of the roadway's exit to Coral Springs Drive.
