Police: Man is shot at Dania Beach Winn Dixie

A man was shot around 7 p.m. Monday in the Winn Dixie plaza in Dania Beach, Broward Sheriff’s Office officials said.

The victim was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital, where he died, authorities say.

BSO said the shooter was a male in his ‘60s who was taken into custody by the Sheriff’s Office. The shooting took place at 308 E. Dania Beach Blvd.
