Two-year-old boy dies after he was struck by a vehicle in Broward, deputies say
A 2-year-old boy was fatally struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon in Broward County, according to the sheriff’s office.
The boy was hit in a residential neighborhood near the 100 block of Allen Road in West Park, a city just north of Miami Gardens, a Broward Sheriff’s Office news release said.
He was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, where he died.
The driver stayed at the scene, BSO officials said, and traffic homicide detectives are investigating. BSO didn’t release names.
