Man hospitalized after stabbing in Fort Lauderdale, police say

A man was stabbed and injured in Fort Lauderdale early Wednesday morning, according to police.

At around 2:20 a.m., officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the 3000 block of Northwest 19th Street, where they found a man who appeared to have been stabbed.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue took him to Broward Health Medical Center as a level one trauma alert, indicating the highest level of severity.

The Fort Lauderdale Police Department urges anyone with information to contact police.
