Police work to identify a body that washed ashore on Hollywood Beach

A woman's body washed ashore on Hollywood Beach on Wednesday night, according to police.
At around 8 p.m. the Hollywood Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a body near New Mexico Street.
The woman has yet to be identified.
The Hollywood Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
