Man shot in Broward dies at hospital. BSO detectives looking for his shooter

Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating the death of a man who was shot in the unincorporated central part of the county Monday night.

Deputies arrived near the 900 block of Northwest 24th Avenue after receiving reports of shots fired around 9:40 p.m. They found 35-year-old Nathaniel Forrest, who’d been shot, Gerdy St. Louis, a sheriff’s office spokeswoman said.

The deputies immediately provided treatment to Forrest, and paramedics took him to Broward Health Medical Center, where he lated died, St. Louis said.

BSO homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
