Two dead, one injured after car crash in Oakland Park, deputies say

Two people died in a Thursday night Oakland Park car crash, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
At around 7:15 p.m. BSO deputies and Oakland Park Fire Rescue responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Northwest Ninth Avenue and Northwest 40th Street.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, deputies say. One person was taken to a hospital for treatment.
BSO’s Traffic Homicide unit is investigating.
