About 20 motorcyclists were traveling down I-75. Three got into a crash, FHP says
Three motorcyclists were injured in a Sunday crash that closed parts of Interstate-75 near the Miramar Parkway for hours, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The unidentified men who were riding north crashed shortly after noon near mile marker six, highway patrol said.
About 20 to 30 motorcycles were on the road at the time.
Florida Department of Transportation cameras showed traffic was completely blocked by about 1 p.m. in the southbound lanes south of Miramar Parkway.
The motorcycles involved included a 2021 Kawasaki, a 2025 Kawasaki and a 2025 Honda, highway patrol said. All three riders were transported to Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“The events leading up to the crash are still under investigation,” highway patrol said.
