Police investigating after body is found near Hollywood Beach
On Friday morning, Hollywood police received a call that a body had been found near the beach.
Police received the call around 7:15 a.m., saying there was possibly someone dead in the sand close to Cleveland Street.
Upon their arrival, police discovered the body of a woman who has not been publicly identified. She appeared to be in her 40s or 50s.
