Woman struck and killed by a car in Lauderhill, police say

A woman was killed after a car hit her Friday night in a Lauderhill neighborhood, according to police.
Around 9:15 p.m., officers responded to the call near the 2100 block of Northwest 55th Avenue.
Paramedics took the woman to Broward Health Medical Center, where she died.
The driver of the car stayed on the scene and showed no signs of impairment, police say.
