The suspect in the killing of a 54-year-old woman in a Broward business two days ago was tracked down and arrested by deputies on Friday, authorities say.

Shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies found Cuiyun Fu’s body inside her spa business in Oakland Park at 2700 W. Oakland Park Blvd. after they were alerted to it by a 911 call. She died from a gunshot wound.

Detectives learned that Chris Luchenburg, 69, had come into the business the morning prior and fatally shot Fu, the sheriff’s office said. The two had known each other for a few months, but the nature of their relationship was not disclosed.

On Friday morning, BSO’s Violent Intervention Proactive Enforcement Response unit found and arrested Luchenburg. He was charged with first-degree murder with a firearm.

It’s unclear if he is still in jail.
