Davie man killed in crash on turnpike
A Davie man was killed in a crash on the Turnpike Extension in Broward County just after 8 p.m. Sunday. According to Florida Highway Patrol, Albert William Mouradian, 36, was headed north near mile marker 41 in southwest Broward when his vehicle hit a Saturn Vue that was partially stopped and blocking the inside lane.
Mouradian lost control and was ejected from his Toyota Tundra. He was not wearing a seatbelt, police said. He was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The three women in the Saturn, and a 3-year-old child, were taken to Memorial West and treated for minor injuries. The accident is under investigation.
