A Fort Lauderdale woman accused of killing her husband appeared before a judge on Sunday according to Miami Herald news partner CBS4.

Tina Belles, 57, is charged with premeditated murder and is being held without bond.

Authorities said a call came in before 9 a.m. about shots fired at a home located at 1940 SW 46th Terrace.

When they arrived, deputies said they found Belles standing over her husband’s dead body in the kitchen.

Investigators identify him as 56-year old Rodney Belles.

A man in court — who said he lived with the couple — said the Belles had been married for about 18 years and he never saw any signs of abuse in the marriage.

No word on the motive yet.
