$3K reward offered in armed sexual battery case

An up to $3,000 reward is up for grabs for anyone who has information leading to the arrest of a man accused of armed sexual battery.

Authorities said the incident happened in Fort Lauderdale on August 3rd around 8:30 p.m, specifically in the 600 block of NW 3rd Avenue.

Investigators describe the man they are looking for as a black male in his 40s, about 5’9″ in height and a medium build. He has brown eyes and a scar right under his left eye. He is also sporting an afro and has two gold teeth.

According to Fort Lauderdale Police, the man may be known as Chris. They have released a sketch to help the public recognize him.
