Roads reopen in Fort Lauderdale after crash sends 9 people to hospital, officials say
Roads have reopened in Fort Lauderdale after a crash involving four cars sent nine people to the hospital. The roads were shut down for nearly two hours, according to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue.
The wreck happened at East Las Olas Boulevard and Riviera Isle Drive during peak morning rush hour.
Seven people had minor injuries and two had “more significant injuries,” according to Fire Rescue. All were taken to Broward Health Medical Center.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and cleared the wreckage.
