You could call it “Penthouse No. 1,” the newly listed $20 million residence planned for a 28-story residential building in Pompano Beach.

“Upper Penthouse 01” at Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach, 1350 S. Ocean Blvd., has 5 bedrooms, 6 1/2 bathrooms, a den, a private rooftop and pool. The indoor and outdoor space combined is nearly 12,000 square feet. It’s one of four penthouses that have prices starting at $16 million, according to the developer’s spokeswoman.

The Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach is planned to be a 28-story, 92-unit project. It’s in the building review stage now, and one of several luxury brands coming to Pompano Beach’s waterfront, including the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Salato, and Armani/Casa Residences Pompano Beach.
