Broward deputies hurt after armed robbery-turned-chase ends in Miami Gardens: officials
Two Broward deputies were hospitalized after an armed robbery turned into a high-speed chase Thursday morning, authorities said.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies were conducting a surveillance operation looking for an armed robbery suspect in Hollywood, the sheriff’s office said. When they found them a pursuit ensued.
The suspect, who has not been identified, rammed two Broward Sheriff’s vehicles, and the chase ended with the culprit’s arrest near 20821 and State Road 7 in Miami Gardens.
Two deputies were taken to a local hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
