A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a Broward drive-by shooting that left an 18-year girl dead in July, according to authorities.

Investigators identified Tyler Mobley as a suspect and arrested him Monday in Sunrise, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday in a press release.

On July 15, BSO deputies and North Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to a shooting call near the 1000 block of Southwest 76th Avenue.

When first responders arrived, they found Bryanna Nina with multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to Broward Health North, where she was later pronounced dead, according to BSO.

BSO said witnesses saw Nina standing outside an apartment complex when unknown subjects exited a dark-colored vehicle and began shooting before fleeing the scene.

In Nina’s obituary, she is described as an old soul, loved and cherished by her family.

“Bryanna was always special, an old soul with a unique gift of intuition,” said the obituary. “[She] was the life of the party, known for her straightforward, sassy attitude. Her spirit and resilience shine brightly, leaving an incredible mark on everyone she met.”

BSO said Mobley faces a murder in the first-degree charge and a “slew of probation violation charges.”

He is being held at the Broward Main Jail Bureau on no bond.
