Man arrested for failing to report a burned body found in a Hollywood alley, police say
A 41-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly abusing a and failing to report a woman’s burned body found in a Hollywood alley in August, authorities say.
The body was discovered just before 1 a.m. at 515 N. 21st Ave. on Aug. 12.

On Wednesday, Hallandale Police took Marquis Denmark, of West Park, into custody after stopping him for being in a public park after hours, according to his arrest report.
After running a check on Denmark, officers discovered he had outstanding warrants in the Hollywood case, along with ecstasy pills in his pocket, the report said.
In an arrest warrant filed on Oct. 8, the woman is listed as Jane Doe and Denmark is accused of failing to report her death and setting her body on fire. The warrant did not detail how authorities connected Denmark to the scene.
It is unknown if Denmark is directly tied to her death and he faces one count of failure to report death, one count of abuse to a dead body and a drug possession charge.
As of Friday morning he was being held in the Broward Main Jail on a $26,000 bond.
