One man dead after being hit by a car in Tamarac, deputies say
A man has died after being hit by a car while walking in Tamarac Wednesday morning, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies and Tamarac Fire Rescue arrived at the scene in the area of North State Road 7 and West Commercial Boulevard at about 6:17 a.m.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was ultimately pronounced dead.
The driver of the car that hit him remained on the scene. BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
