Teen shot and killed, three others injured, after gunfire erupts in Pompano Beach: BSO

A teen was shot and killed, and three others left injured, when gunfire broke out outside of a Pompano Beach business Monday night, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened around 5 p.m. near the 1800 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, said BSO spokeswoman Miranda Grossman.
Deputies arrived to find 16-year-old John Zetrenne suffering from a gunshot wound. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue paramedics took him to Broward Health North, where Grossman said medical staff pronounced him dead.
Grossman three other people were taken to a nearby hospital in a private car. They are Emmanuel Francois, 31, from Lauderhill, Petenson Nicolas, 30, of Pompano Beach, and Elijah Gustave, 21, from Pompano Beach. They are expected to survive, Grossman said.
The men and Zetrenee, who lived in North Lauderdale, were standing outside a business located at 1780 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, when they were approached by several people who began shooting, Grossman said.
