Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives investigate the fatal shooting of 18-year-old man

Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking for the public’s help with solving the shooting death of an 18-year-old man Sunday night in Lauderdale Lakes.

Deputies and BSO Fire Rescue paramedics arrived at the 3700 block of North Pacific Breeze Circle shortly before 9 p.m. to find Decarlo Horton injured by gunfire, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Miranda Grossman said.

After deputies and medics performed life-saving measures at the scene, he was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, where doctors declared him dead, Grossman said.

The sheriff’s office is asking that anyone with information about the case call Detective Kevin White at 954-321-4215, or CrimeStoppers at 954-493-8477.
