Report: Ebola patient flew on flight that stopped in Fort Lauderdale
A plane on which a nurse flew before she tested positive for Ebola went on additional flights, including to Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, before being taken out of service, according to reports.
The information, from Flighttracker, shows the plane was used for five additional flights: including stops in Cleveland and Atlanta, CBS in Dallas reported.
Meanwhile, according to The Associated Press, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is disinfecting key areas of the facility and providing personal protection for equipment employees.
The Cleveland Department of Public Health says the passenger was visiting family in northeast Ohio to prepare for her wedding. She is a nurse in Dallas.
Passengers who were on Monday's Frontier Airlines Flight 1143 to Dallas with her have been asked to call the CDC, according to the AP.
