I-95 northbound lanes shut down during rush hour after car crash in Broward, FHP says

The northbound lanes of I-95 in parts of Broward County were closed Monday because of a car crash.

The northbound lanes of I-95 in Broward County were shut down Monday afternoon during rush hour following a car crash a few hours earlier, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

FDOT reported on its FL511 X account, formerly known as Twitter, that the crash happened around 2 p.m. and impacted traffic around the Copans Road exit. The lanes remained closed as of 3:45 p.m., according to FDOT.

It’s not known at this time whether there any deaths or injuries.
