Davie teen killed in single-car crash

A Davie teen was killed after his car hit a tree over the weekend.

Dylan Anthony Dandrea, 17, was driving north in the 3300 block of South Pine Island Road in Cooper City when his BMW went off the road, hitting the curb of the center median at about 1 p.m. Saturday.

His car then rolled and went airborne before hitting a palm tree, according to authorities.

Dandrea died immediately, according to Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash.
