Sisters last seen at Fort Lauderdale airport have been found in Georgia, police say

UPDATE: The Hill sisters have been found safe and unharmed in Georgia, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Monday night.

“The Hill sisters were located in Decatur, Georgia by Dekalb County Sheriff’s Office and have been turned over to a family member,” the sheriff’s office said.

ORIGINAL: Two teenage sisters on Sunday afternoon vanished from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and deputies need help finding them.

Thyatria Hill, 17, and Jasmine Hill, 14, were last seen around 12 p.m. at the airport, 300 Terminal Drive, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Sunday night.

Jasmine is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds, while Thyatria is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds. Detectives say both teens have black hair and brown eyes.

The Hill sisters are believed to be in the city of Lauderhill, according to investigators.

“Detectives also say no foul play is suspected at this time,” BSO spokeswoman Gerdy St. Louis told the Miami Herald on Monday.
