The military has flown into town — and you may be hearing the roar above your Broward County home.

But there’s nothing to worry about, unless you don’t like the sound of a screaming Super Hornet.

Pilots started preparing on Thursday and Friday for this weekend’s Fort Lauderdale Air Show. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels and other groups are practicing above Hollywood, Dania Beach and Fort Lauderdale.

View from the water:

The U.S. Coast Guard has established a maritime safety zone for the Fort Lauderdale Air Show. Viewing is permitted on the eastern perimeter of the zone. The eastern perimeter extends for four miles parallel with the flight path of the performing aircraft and is about a mile from the air show centerline.

Streaming: No live streaming of stunts is planned over the beach, but the air show’s YouTube channel will capture the planes landing and taking off at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
