Deputies locate 12-year-old Broward boy days after he disappeared from Deerfield Beach

A 12-year-old boy who had disappeared from Deerfield Beach last week was found and returned to his family on Saturday, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Zachary Kearney had last been seen around 7 a.m. Thursday near the 1600 block of West Hillsboro Boulevard, the sheriff’s office said. A missing persons alert was issued the following day.
