South Florida’s commuter rail said a bus bridge will take passengers between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Sheridan Street after, Hollywood police say, a Tri-Rail train hit and killed a person around 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The investigation has shut down the tracks in both directions at Stirling Road and Anglers Avenue. While car traffic moves as normal on Stirling Road, Tri-Rail, freight trains and Amtrak trains are affected.

This developing story will be updated.
