A girl was found wandering near a busy Broward corner. Adults are being investigated

SUNDAY 4:15 P.M. UPDATE: Broward Sheriff’s Office says the girl’s family members were found.

BSO’s special victims unit is investigating how a child was wandering Sunday mornnig in Lauderdale Lakes near West Oakland Park Boulevard and S. State Road 7 (U.S. 441), but her family members couldn’t be located until Sunday afternoon.

The girl, carrying her dolls, was found around 9:30. BSO alerted media at 3:18 p.m. that her family had been found.

BSO says the child hadn’t been able to tell detectives her name or age.
