A Fort Lauderdale man has been arrested on child pornography charges after authorities said they found videos and other material inside his home.
Fort Lauderdale Police Department detectives, in partnership with the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, executed the search warrant and made the eventual arrest Thursday morning.
Detectives used software developed by the nonprofit organization Child Rescue Coalition to locate an IP address actively trading the child pornography. The IP address was traced and later located to Apartment 3 at 814 NE 14th Place in Fort Lauderdale.
Authorities said they found a computer inside the home containing 10 graphic videos of children as young as 4 being sexually abused by adults.
