The body of a scuba diver who went missing over the weekend was recovered Wednesday on a Hollywood Beach, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Vitali Kremez, 36, was last seen at the beach Sunday at around 8 a.m., Petty Officer Ryan Estrada, a Coast Guard spokesman, told the Miami Herald. He was in the water on a weekend where much of eastern Florida was at high risk for rip currents.

After Kremez was reported missing at noon, Estrada said the Coast Guard arrived to the area at around 12:30 p.m.

Units have performed aerial and water surface searches, Estrada added. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Broward Sheriff’s Office all assisted in the search.

Kremez has an address listed in Hollywood, according to property records.
