FBI Release photos of suspected bank robber, not clear if the person is a man or woman
A person with long, brown hair with streaks in it and dark sunglasses walked into a Plantation bank Monday afternoon and demanded money.
By the afternoon, the FBI released pictures of the suspected bank robber, but said investigators were not clear whether they were looking for a man or a woman.
“Investigators have not conclusively determined the gender of the robbery suspect at this time,” the FBI said in a statement.
The incident happened at about 1 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 1191 S University Dr. in Plantation.
According to the FBI, a robber entered the bank — which had customers — and asked an an employee for money. The robber then left with an undisclosed amount of money.
