Two young children and a man drowned in a pool at a Hollywood home Thursday afternoon, police said.

Around 3:30 p.m., Hollywood officers were called to the scene of a drowning in the 700 block of South Highland Drive, according to police.

A woman discovered her husband and two children in the pool shortly before calling 911, police say.

It was there that officers found a 5-year-old, 2-year-old and a man, and began doing CPR. After being taken to Memorial Regional Hospital, the trio were subsequently pronounced dead.

Detectives do not suspect foul play at this time. Police are still investigating what happened. The family has not yet been identified.

WSVN 7News spoke to a neighbor of the family who said they had five children, one of whom just left for college. The neighbor has helped the family before.

“It’s horrible, and I’m shaken right now. We’re cordial, and here and there we say hi to them. We really keep to ourselves in this neighborhood until something like this happens, unfortunately,” said the neighbor.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
