Cops: Man kills girlfriend and calls to report crime
The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide near Fort Lauderdale after a man called claiming he killed his girlfriend.
The incident happened Sunday morning at the Rashelle Hotel, 825 NW 27th Ave.
Deputies said they apprehended 52-year-old Reginald Kindle near the hotel.
According to police, Kindle said he killed his girlfriend after the two had an argument.
He reportedly tried to kill himself but ended up reporting his actions to BSO instead.
Deputies have not yet identified the woman.
