A man was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Broward, deputies say

A man was rushed to a hospital Tuesday evening after he was hit by a car, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

The accident happened just after 6 p.m. near the Boulevard of Champions and Merion Place in North Lauderdale.

According to BSO, a call came in to the Broward Regional Communications “reporting a crash with injuries.”

Responding deputies found an injured adult male, who had been hit by a vehicle, BSO said. The man was not identified.

The driver, who was also not identified Tuesday night, stayed on the scene and was cooperating with the investigation.

No other information was available Tuesday night.
