UPDATE: Detectives from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office found missing 82-year-old Robbie Burning on Wednesday in Lake Worth, the agency said in an afternoon news release.

Burning was transported to a local hospital in good condition and his family is on the way to be reunited with him, the BSO added.

So the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit asks for the public’s help to find Robbie Burning, who was last seen in Pompano Beach.

According to detectives, Burning was last seen at about 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, near the 1700 block of Northeast 44th Street in Pompano Beach. He was driving a 2020 white Toyota Corolla with a Florida tag, HLU D22. Burning was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, jean shorts and white and black sneakers.

Investigators say Burning is about 6-feet tall. He weighs around 170 pounds and has black and white hair and brown eyes. According to his family, Burning suffers from dementia, BSO spokeswoman Claudinne Caro said in an alert.
