Silver Alert for a missing South Florida senior citizen last seen in his Mercedes

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Silver Alert for Miramar resident Joseph Williams on Sunday afternoon.

According to FDLE and Miramar police, Williams rolled away from his home in the 6700 block of Southwest 20th Street around 1:30 p.m. Saturday and hasn’t been seen since. Police say the 72-year-old “has recently been forgetful.”

Williams stands five-foot-six and weighs around 160 pounds. He was wearing a Miami Heat T-shirt with black pants, and was driving a white 1997 Mercedes-Benz C280 with Florida license plate KGM K39.
