Stray alligator in Sunrise found pierced with arrow caught, killed
An alligator that was wandering in a Sunrise neighborhood before dawn Wednesday was found to have been wounded by an arrow and was euthanized after being caught.
Bill Gilmartin, a trapper licensed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, says he was called by the agency at about 4 a.m. because an alligator was in the area of the 5900 block of Northwest 13th Street in Sunrise.
