FHP is looking for the person who shot a man on I-95 near Hallandale Beach
A man was shot on Interstate 95 in Hallandale Beach three days ago and a suspect hasn’t been identified. The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for help finding who’s responsible for the shooting.
On Friday, troopers released a photo of the suspect’s car and a map of the parts of the interstate the car drove on. The suspect was driving a black Infinity M45, possibly a 2006 or 2007 model.
Just after 3 p.m. Tuesday, the FHP tweeted that a shooting happened on southbound I-95 at Hallandale Beach Boulevard.
FHP spokesman Yanko Reyes said a gray Ford and black car were the focus of the shooting. Someone in the black car shot at the Ford, hitting a man at least once. The black car continued south without stopping.
The wounded man was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
FHP is asking anyone with tips on the whereabouts of the car to email FHP’s public affairs office, Crime Stoppers, or leave a message at *347.
