Missing North Lauderdale 10-year-old boy found in Pompano Beach, deputies say

UPDATE: Shad Palmeus was found safe Wednesday night in Pompano Beach. He was found about a 20 minute drive and hour and a half walk away from where he was last seen at a gas station in North Lauderdale.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office was looking for the 10-year-old, who was last seen Wednesday in North Lauderdale.

The boy, who is 4 feet, 1 inch tall and has black hair and brown eyes, was wearing a black T-shirt with a solar system design in the shoulder area, black pants and gray and black sandals when he disappeared. He was seen at around 1 p.m. at a Mobile Gas Station, at 1391 S. SR 7 in North Lauderdale.

At 4:07 p.m., deputies were flagged down and told about Shad’s disappearance. They boy was also seen in the area of 1200 Seaview Drive, which is about a 20 minute walk from the gas station.
