Armed robbers take his gold chain with a Jesus charm, video shows. Can you identify them?
Two suspects — one of whom was armed — stole a gold chain with a Jesus pendant and other jewelry from a man near a Miramar gas station, police said.
Video released by police Monday of the July 7th incident shows a man sitting on a picnic table before being forced onto the ground. A man in a white skull cap points a semi-automatic gun at him while another man wearing a mask takes what appears to be the chain.
The armed robbery happened at a Sunoco station, 7520 Pembroke Road.
“During the course of the robbery, one shot was fired at a victim, striking nobody,” police said in a news release.
Police say the suspects left on foot.
One man is described as being 20 to 29 years old, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 175 pounds with a thin build, short black hair and no facial hair.
The second man is described as being 20 to 29 years old, 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 185 pounds with short black hair. He was wearing multicolored shoes.
