A woman was found floating in a canal over the weekend. Police are investigating

A woman’s body was found floating in a Pompano Beach canal, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

BSO said a call about a possible drowning brought them to the canal, in the 1000 block of Northwest Sixth Street, around 6 p.m. Sunday. Homicide detectives are investigating. No identification has been made yet.
