He broke into Miramar High and caused about $100,000 in damages, cops say. He was naked.

Locker rooms, (some) beaches and your own home are all acceptable places to walk around nude. An empty high school in the middle of a global pandemic is not.

Detectives are searching for a man who they allege broke into Miramar High and significantly damaged school property — all while naked.

Miramar police say the suspect vandalized the school for nearly 24 hours. Surveillance footage shows him entering just before 8 a.m. Monday and still gallivanting around the premises around 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

During that time, he broke computers, painted graffiti on walls and flooded certain areas of the school, according to police. School officials estimated the cost of damages at $100,000.

The man’s connection to the school is unclear.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Melinda Kimkowski at 954-602-4018 or via email at mrkimkowski@miramarpd.org. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
