She died after falling off a motorcycle, cops say, but her body went limp before that

A Miami woman died after falling off a motorcycle in Weston, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office

Valeria Egues, 33, was killed Sunday afternoon just north of Griffin Road on U.S. 27.

Deputies and fire-rescue responded to the crash just before 2:30 p.m. According to BSO, Ernesto Garcia was driving south on U.S. 27 on a Harley-Davidson when Egues, who was riding on the back of the motorcycle, suddenly dropped to the ground.

Paramdics pronounced her dead at the scene. A witness later told BSO that Egues’ body was “limp” before she even fell off.

Homicide detectives found no evidence of speeding or substance use, according to BSO. The investigation is ongoing.
