A Hollywood street brawl was caught on camera — and police are searching for answers

Police are searching for the identity of a man who was seen on video beating another man to the ground.

Newly released video from Hollywood police shows the street brawl that unfolded on Nov. 22.

It starts with the suspect pulling another man to the ground and punching him in the side. After the first man holds the other in a head-lock, they tussle around for a few seconds before the suspect takes off his shirt and knees the man in the face.

After walking out of frame, the suspect comes back and lands a punch so hard the man falls to the ground, no longer moving.

The suspect then pulls his phone out and takes either pictures or video of the collapsed man before a bystander pulls the suspect away.

Police say the suspect is a heavyset man with multiple tattoos, including a large skull on his abdomen and a portrait on his right forearm.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have information on this brawl to call the Hollywood Police Department at 954-764-4357 or 954-967-4411. Tipsters can email or text to hollywoodpdtips@hollywoodfl.org.
