He broke into two homes and a car and sexually battered a woman, say cops

Hollywood police are looking for a man who detectives say broke into two homes and a car and sexually battered a woman in the Hollywood Oaks neighborhood.

On Wednesday police released video, saying they were looking for a man responsible for two home break-ins and a car burglary. On Thursday, police updated the information, saying the man was also responsible for a sexual battery during one of the break-ins.

“Detectives want to identify this guy as soon as possible,” said Miranda Grossman, a spokeswoman for Hollywood police. “This is a dangerous suspect that could do something again.”

According to police, surveillance video captured the man at about 4 a.m. entering one of the homes. He was seen carrying a flashlight, and wearing a Nike hat and Nike shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hollywood Police Department at 954-764-4357 (HELP), 954-967-4411 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
