A man was found dead outside a corner store in Lauderhill with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

Lauderhill Police responded to the scene at Northwest 34th Avenue and First Street at around 5:15 p.m. Sunday after a shooting was reported.

When officers got there, 37-year-old Torrino Judge, who lived a just a few blocks north from the crime scene, was found bleeding out on the sidewalk with several bullet wounds. Torrino was transported to Broward Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

“The initial investigation suggests that there was an altercation between the suspect and the victim,” said Lauderhill police spokesman Mike Santiago. “We don’t know what the altercation was about. Witnesses say the suspect shot at the victim and fled westbound.”
